So here's my finished 1/48 Supermarine Spitfire MK.I from tamiya!
this particular plane i believe flew with the 610th squadron ,June 1940.
overall i really like this kit , the fit is perfect and i only had to fill one seam but the decals could be better
but apart from that i'm very happy with how its came out and it will take a proud place on my shelf

Great looking build there Liam, dio sets it off nicely. Just for info, RAF squadrons are just the number followed by 'squadron'. So your 'flew with the 610th squadron' would be written simply as 'flew with 610 squadron' and would be said 'six ten squadron' or 'six one zero squadron.' There are one or two oddities like 111 sqdn which is always referred to as 'treble one.' (or 'Tremblers' as they are know in the RAF.) In service the 'squadron' is dropped so someone will simply be on '29' or 11'.
