Eduard BF-110C 1/48

It's been a while since my last build.
So here we go, with a new project.

This time i'll build the BF110C from Eduard.

First some pics of the kit in question.

I think this will be a nice build for the next 2 month's or so.
Now it's time to unpack the kit give a good rinsing and of we go to the workbench.

Hi,

Just got some work done this weekend.
Started at the cockpit.

first a base colour of black.

Next sprayed RLM02 so the cockpit parts are now basicaly the right colour.

Been thinking about buying this very kit for my BofB shelf.

i've been able to put in a little work on the BF-110

Gleud the wings together the fit was good only needed some minor filler.

adjusted the cooling i want the flap to be in the open position.

Just to let you all know i made my mind up.
From the options offered by Eduard i'm going for this version.

Just a little update,

Glued the engine nacelles onto the wings.
I've been reading on different fora that these didn't fit that well.

i think these went on quitte well.

I've glued the hull together
Almost no filler required.
The little filler what was needed was my own fault.
If my youngest one didn't scream for attention it should have gone oke.

also masked the canopy with the mask supplied and made some tube from a cuetip. otherwise one would look straight into the hull.

Hello dear readers,

It's time for a little update.

I painted had some time this weekend to do a little painting.

sprayed the aircrafts belly and top side (first colour)

next i'll be masking the camo-pattern.

Yesterday had some time to mask and paint the upper surface splinter-camo

Luckily the masking tape came off without any problems. (no previous paint was destroyed)

Next i'll paint a clear gloss and on with the decals.

Very, very nice Arjan! Can't wait to see it when it's finished.

Applied the decals this weekend.

They went on like a dream. reacted superd on microsol en set.
Even the sharkmouth decal i feared most went on nicely.

Unfortunatly i didn't toke a picture of the whole plane.

next will be a gloss coat some weathering ans an antenna wire.

Finally finished this build.
I could recommend this kit to everyone with a little modelbuilding skill
Shes builds into a nice plane of which i'm very pleased.

Hi Ityzzman,

In regard of your question.
That panelline on de spine is sanded flush,

On the pictures i found i didn't clearly notice this line so I chose not to show it.
