Here I go again, still no money so now I'll take this Stuart tank I built in April 2015, my eighth model ever, and try and turn it into something that doesn't induce vomiting. M3A2 by Academy

Haha check out that stowage travesty just kind of floating on that tank, bumps, rough road, never moves an nothing holding it down...



Have a real challenge on my hands. My goal, going to somehow lighten up the color, find some new decals if I can as these blow ass, and tie down that damn stowage! Add some dust, a tank from North Africa most likely got a little dusty, and then maybe I'll save it from my friend Mr Springfield.

anyone have any ideas on how to remove decals?

Scotch tape will pull it off, it may also take some paint with it.
A Ultimate buffer is what I use these days to remove them. Takes a bit of time but they eventually come off and the paint is intact.
If you haven't sealed them with a varnish then you may be able to just float them off with some water
I will also use some decal solution for more stubborn decals to soften them to the point of destruction and remove them that way.

Ill try the easy one first - scotch tape - at least I got the new ones ordered

Humm... turns out that this pos isn't worth saving basically the thing broke apart when I was stripping down, forgot what a crap job I did on the tracks, and the cost/time to work over- I'd rather just have a new model - off to the trash can for this junk - not even worth wasting a single 22l round on!

Wait just had an idea, maybe a destroyed vehicle?

Na - just going to Brad Pitt can it.
