Messed up the cockpit as usual and no matter what I tried could not get rid of the silvering on the decals on the stand. Got a MKII to do as well when I get around to it.

You have a nice model my friend !

as for the silvering ! here is one of many ways to Alleviate Silvering
and it works for me...

my recipe is:

*Future Floor Wax on before decals, either applied with an Air-Brush or brushed on depending on the area you are covering ??? not everybody likes to Spray the whole vehicle.
*Let Harden the Wax or (Clear-coat) a few days, Then
*I Use "Mr. Setter" Decal solution (from Mr.Hobby) which has a Matting Agent in it !
*while this is still wet; Add your Decals, Sponge off excess water and push out air bubbles
*Once dried.... Then I add another coat of Future Floor Wax to Seal and protect my decals...
*Let harden a few days and then Weather your model to your heart content !

it sounds anal ! but for me it has been a great help ! I hate silvering but Mr. Setter and Mr. Softener have been a God Send !!! well worth the investment !

Here is a picture of the product I am talking about !
(Not my picture by the way... from the NET )
