What's the kit like Richard? because I've not heard the greatest reports of the Academy kit? How's the fit and detail? I'm probably going to get the GWH kit because I just got the their F-15 and it is truly awesome. The Academy SU30 is really affordable so I was wondering how much extra work you had to do to get such a great result?

Overall it is a great kit. Especially the detail is great. But I had some significant fitting problems as I described in this thread. I think that the GWH is the better kit of the two. But the price is much higher.
To get this result I used extra detail PE sets and some scratchbuilding. And lots of patience.
