White glue and temporary fixing

Post by Jagdpanzer »

I have seen a few videos / posts where people mention using white glue to temporarily fix parts to their models.

I'm just wondering how this works and which type of glue folks are using?

Kristal clear is white pva glue but I think some people on her use blue or white tack to temporarily hold parts in place - could be wrong though

I sometimes use tiny spots of pva to hold canopies in place while I'm painting. Then I can easily remove it to fix in the open position later. Saves trying to mask off open cockpits and ensures the paint on the canopy frame is the same as on the fuselage.

Thanks folks. I think I may have a bottle of Kristal Klear somewhere. I will give it a go!
