Tamiya Polish Mustang

Hi Guys well has i finished the Mossie i had room on the bench for a new build i wanted something simple so out this came.


I built this kit about 2 years ago and was one of the 1st builds i showed on the forum

You can see more photos in the portfolio part of the forum. and i wanted to see for myself how far or not i have come in my modeling adventure.

Anyway enough waffle here the start of the build.
We start with the cockpit i added some seat belts and cracked on with the build.










I also cut out the guns to replace with a needle i got from work.



And this is where im at all primed


I thinking of riveting the air frame so if i do I'll show how Im going to tackle that.

Hi Guys another quick update.

I've got her all together and she went together like a dream no problems what so ever. so then she was primed and painted and some other bits and bobs done.









She is painted in Vallejo Model Air had to make my own colours up because i didnt have quite the right shade but they look ok to me and ti try something new there is no pre-shading just post-shading at the min. I'll do some more fading when i do the rest of the weathering if i think i need to.

Any way thats where im at.

Looking great. Am I the only one who sees this thread title and think it's saying 'Tamiya polish Mustang' as in they are polishing it? Gets me every time.
