Vallejo Model Color or Citadel Acrylics?

Gents-

Just received several of the new acrylic Vallejo Metal Color paints. I have tested them an imo they look really good. I have never used the Citadel metal colors and wonder if any of you have tried both, and if so, which do you like best? I might buy a few of the Citadels but not sure if I should spend the money since I now have all these Vallejos.

Would Citadel be worth the extra investment?

for me citadel had the best acrylic metal paints until vallejo released their new range.. Now after using them, for me the new vallejo range of metal paints are the best as far as acrylic goes..

The thing with citadel is that they keep changing the names of there paints so it's hard to keep track off and even discontinued some with out saying a thing but Vallejo has a great catalogue and to my knowledge u can keep getting the same paints for years

Imho the citadel are best for brush painting whereas the vallejo work best through the windy stick.

My two cents having used both. The old citadel were very good, I'd say a touch better than Vallejo. The newest citadel paints are awful. Vallejo are excellent in coverage and consistency. The dropper bottles are also a huge plus over the citadel pots which dry out much quicker. I'd recommend the Vallejo over citadel whether brush painting or airbrushing.
