So, two years almost to the month and she's done.
I'm as happy with her as I'll ever be, I don't have the skills to take her any further.

Fantastic build and an impressive effort - I can't imagine myself keeping focus on a kit for two years. But maybe that comes with experience....

The vessel is beautiful with all its details and the dio looks stunning. It's a great tribute to your grandfather who did service on that ship.

No that's the HMCS Sackville. Same class of ship though, almost the same refit too.

I've seen a few of these kits converted to RC before and they tend to be painted and weathered for handling and not so much for realism. The few that I've seen are a little toy like as a result.
I think that it goes with the territory of making it rc, the products used to paint and weather it must be more robust and don't lend well to fine details.
