Fire Dump diorama

Apologies if there is a separate thread on dioramas. (Mods feel free to move if required)

My 1:72 Vulcan was getting tired and brittle - bits falling off/lost etc. Rather than lob it in the bin, I have decided to turn into a Fire Dump diorama. (Many Vulcan airframes ended their days on a RAF fire dump )

I have hacked lumps off and set about it with a blow lamp to represent the scenario.

Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated. I have a section of plaster board which I will beat lumps out of - and paint, as the base. I don't intend on having any figures/vehicles in it, as yet.

Ok... a little update so far. It got pushed to the back burner for many months but I have returned to it recently.

Most of it is done - just needs some finishing details applied.

Subtle use of a blow lamp and a touch of weathering paints

Classing this as the finished item... if I add anymore it will become too cluttered IMO

Shame to see the big girl lying like that. Unfortunately, all her sisters probably met a similar or worse end.

Beautiful aircraft and well done for giving it life in death.
