Jon's Karaya 1:48 Sukhoi SU-17M4

This one. I will attempt this rare and out of production kit and hope it is a good one. Heard good things, but I will find out first hand and let you know.

This will be straight out of the box, hopefully.





The plastic comes in three flavors. Silver gray, very light gray, and clear. A very nice resin seat is included and no PE...let me repeat that...no PE. The silvery stuff is thick and feels like brittle resin. It will be interesting to see how it is to work with. The lighter plastic seems slightly less brittle, and not as thick. One piece of each gray type of plastic had separated from their respective sprues during shipping. The resin seat looks very nicely detailed, as it should be. The clear is clear enough. Unfortunately, two pieces had separated from the sprue in shipping and will need to be polished up.

I am going to do yellow 27.
