Hasegawa 1/48 F-16CJ (Block 50) Fighting Falcon

Hello all,

I'm throwing my hat into the ring with this kit.
And some goodies to go with it...

The kit it's self looks like this...

This is my first Hasegawa kit and my first impressions are delighted & disappointed at the same time. The level of detail is great and yet some of the other things are quite irritating. A bit flashy and ejector pin marks in the main gear doors
and the main gear wheels.
Also, there is no tread on the tires!!! Just a seam line.


Really Hasegawa? It's not a Ford Tri-Motor!!! Put tread on the flipping TIRES!!!

I won't be putting the history of the F-16 in this thread. It has had a long and industrious career. If you would like to know more about this aircraft, please GTS (Google That Sh!t)...

As a side note: I am reserving the right of "Artistic Licensing". I have decals for an F-16A that I would like to use, but I haven't decided yet...

This should be a fun build and I can't wait to see all the great Falcons that will come from this SIG. Thanks for taking a peek at this thread...

I was finally able to get a little work done on my kit. Just some PE in the cockpit, but it's a step forward...

Looks like a nice kit
allthough there are some points that could be improved
but then again no kit is perfect
have fun with the build
