T-34/85, Academy, 1:35

Post by jubelperser »

Hi Guys,

in this thread i'm going to show you my first build. I've chosen an easy kit ( i hope ;) ) - the famous T-34/85. Pictures from the build will follow soon.

Here are some pics of the suspension + wheels. Academy put some nice details on this kit, but please convince yourself.

Nice start, Chris! This looks like a newer kit and that Academy has improved its molding process, which should make this it a lot easier to build than their older kits (i.e. my tiger). I look forward to seeing your progress!

It's not a bad level of detail. I'm curious how well the upper and lower hulls fit together once it's built.
The dragon and afv club ones sometimes have issues.

Good evening,

a little sign of life of my actual build. I f*cked up the tracks due to using too much glue, which destroyed the ( plastic ) track pattern. So i had to look for a substitue - and found some by Friul. Took me 2 1/2 to assemble both tracks. Here are some pictures:

Great looking build so far. Those Friul tracks sure do look nice.
