Missing part

Post by herbies »

Does anyone have experience with Dragon care?

As I've lost a part, which I cannot do without, from their pz.kpfwg 3 ausf l kit.

My experience was bad very bad
i have a Befehljäger 38 ausf.M kit wich was missing a complete sprue
i made the ticket at dragon care and had a few replies but i couldn't do everything they asked for
you may have better luck if you contact the import company
i heared Dragon USA solved a few problems for members of ISM but i never heared anything positive about Dragoncare

Yea

so far they keep asking for 'details' and proof of sale.

Which I replied what details do they need and because I bought it overseas and threw away the receipt I don't have a proof of sale... it is confusing me. Though been looking at some aftermarket. But being an idiot I glued the barrel assembly together and to the turret. So whether spending the 20-30AUD is worth just replacing that small missing part, only time will tell.

Sorry for the late reply. Ended up asking DragonUSA and they replied within 24 hours! So thank you for that. Only going to cost me 15.

Missing part is the number circled Image

Well that does look a bit tricky to make yourself
i did make the ribg that goes on the front of the gun sleeve
but that was because it was on the barrel from the kit and i replaced that so i needed one
you could settle for a piece of copper or styrene tube but that would lack the detail on it
if you want to make a DAK version you could make a dustcover with tissuepaper and cover it
the detail would be hidden that way
but i don't know if duat covers where a common thing in Europe on the Panzer III
