Photo's ??

Post by burnie43 »

Guys
Is it just me ??
I am cracking on with 2 builds at the moment ( ones that I am determined to complete that is !! ) and I have realised that I haven't really taken many pics......!!
why ???
Because I keep getting so involved that I forget to stop and snap.......!!!
Doh, note to self......try and do better ! :violin: :violin: :violin: :violin: :violin:

cheers

Did the same thing with an IS3 kit that I wanted to join the From Russia with Love GB, started it without snapping untouched sprues so game over. Have managed to take some pics of my other project but that really annoyed me.

Yep! I'm guilty of that all the time! I get in the zone and next thing I know, it's finished, lol!

The trick is to have the phone on the modelling desk as you work. That way you can snap away whenever something of note catches your eye.

Then one is free to add the clever words and context at one's convenience - usually after a few glasses of wine on a cold winter's evening!
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

I try to take snaps at the end of each days work, that way there is at least some kind of update, does work better with clonking great armour builds than ickle planes though.
John, whats on my bench? Usually a mess and a couple of different models a week.
My motto? I'm not lazy, just energy efficient.

My camera and tripod are in the room....tripod stuck in a corner and camera under the building rubble on my desk !! ( see what I did with the words there ? )

Your not alone mate, happens to me too. I have been extra careful with my current build to get pics of the various stages, and certainly progress pics of the more interesting parts.

If its a non-GB model then I just take them whenever I remember haha.
