Distraught!!!!

Post by gazmat »

Oh no!!!!!........been working on my Tamiya 1:32 Mustang P51 since the 1st November last year, near completion, decalled at the weekend, tonight I thought i'd Klear coat to seal them in....then for some reason I did some little touching up where needed, masked an area, not thinking of what i'd done  ...went to take the tape off, you know whats coming!!!! parts of the decals came away...AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! I haven't felt like that since I was a kid, the emotions :eeek: ....threw my glasses across the cave, lots and lots of swearing..... then calmed down.

So started to think my way out of it......heavily weathered perhaps, make those decals more ruined, buy a new Kit and rob those decals, and build another version from that later on in life....or, what Im hoping is, to buy another set of decals...thats where my cry for help comes in (if your not already crying that is :violin: ) where would I source these from?....UK hopefully, guys I need your help...Thanks

Kitsworld have quite a few 1/32 mustang decal sets i don't know if they match the tamiya set but it's worth a try. http://kitsworld.co.uk/index.php?CATEGORY=3&SUB=4

which markings is it? I have a few Tamiya 1/32 Mustangs in the stash, but i dont want the decals (apart from placards and stencils) as I think the OEM are not very good (too thick) and prefer masks in the main.

Might be able to send you them - where are you?
