Question new dragon tunisian initial

had to stop on my rye field tiger, till I get some glue remover, that has to be fix before I can move on with it. anyway is
anyone building the Tunisian initial by Dragon? if so, how does X1 fit to X2? there's a huge hole there, those small X1 parts will not attach to anything, as seen in picture 2, either I'm missing something or Dragons wisdom is at it again. those F ups.

you really cant see where X1 fits to X2, at least I cant.

don't know why dragon made it that way you cant build it without the heat shrouds, even if you use the extra ones in the kit, there larger then the ones you are suppose to, would they be out of scale? well guess you'll figure it out when you get there.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
