Ultimate lost piece?

Post by Avgas »

I was putting the turbine fan into the jet nozzle of my latest build this evening when it went pinging off from my tweezers. Looked high and low for it, couldn't find it. I've just been watching a film and stood up to turn the telly off at the end. I felt something inside my t shirt and there was the turbine fan.

It's the Lord's work I tell you.
Regards, Dave.

Hmm, he must be a fan of your work!
On bench: nothing, it's all hidden so the wife doesn't see it or the cats mess it up!!
Current "Black" projects include: Sci-fi kits and 1:35 tanks.

Its when you find parts in your belly button or stuck to your leg with ca its time to worry!
John, whats on my bench? Usually a mess and a couple of different models a week.
My motto? I'm not lazy, just energy efficient.

I have spent around 20 mins total today looking for dropped parts. Lost two of the same part as well, so only 3 out of 5 doors on my kit have door handles.

TBH I'd give a pointy bit of lost PE a close runner up to a Lego brick and power plug on the "worst things to stand on" list. But at least once that happens you never forget where it was

Mysterious forces are at work I tell you! Parts can enter a temporal rift where they reappear in the very first place you looked long after you've given up hope of ever finding them again!!
.......and remember, parts always turn up in they very last place you look!

Wish I had a dollar for every part I've lost. I would be rich.
