Help me find Impala

Post by JudgeDredd »

Hi all

My daughter is right into Supernatural and I'd really like to make the car for her.

It's an Chevy Impala 67. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks

Closest I can find is a '65. Don't know how closely it matches a '67.

AMT made a '67 years ago, it has bee released a couple of times with different parts, not sure when the last release was. There are some on ebay, some of them are listed for ridicules money http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMT-1967-Chevro ... xyHE5Ruh2z but there are some for a normal price as well http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMT-ERTL-1967-C ... Has to be a 67. She's a nut on the show and will spot the difference. It's not that she'd be ungrateful, but if it's not THE car, then it's not the car.

Thank you though.

I think I can see one on US sites. Unfortunately, the only one I can seem to find is a 2 door (and the show is 4 door).

I'll keep looking. I just hoped someone knew of some quirky model shop that stocked quirky kits.

Thank you.

That's the 2 door one I spotted.

In that case I think your best bet is to try and find a resin body for the AMT kit, I know that there has been some made but I can't remember who made it or when it was, could be some years ago.

I maybe could make the 2 door a four door. I'll have to look at the door length and see if fitting another door would work.

Thanks anyway
