A modeler Awakens: Red 5 Episode 2

Hi Guys,
This is the second episode of the Red 5 build up. Unfortunately because I procrastinated in Nov. and became so busy at work in Dec. I just finished the night before the film released in the states. I actually posted some of the pictures here as photo finish. However I did not post a final reveal. Building the kit was fun and I learned lot. This kit is the biggest kit I have done so far piece count wise so that is a milestone.

As so many have already said this kit goes together great and If-like me-you are new to modeling or just getting back into it this kit is a great place to start. To be honest I love to paint. I got back into modeling because I was painting miniatures for war games and enjoyed painting so much that I started looking at historical figures and models. Models now are nothing like when I was a kid. Frankenstein looks like Karloff, snap kits come with more than 4 pieces and the details on military vehicles are amazing. And I truly believe that when this is done well it is an art form all its own. My channel is a chronical of my efforts to achieve art. This thing we do... it is art right?
