Hi Modellers,
I started modelling at about 6 years old (Dad helped!) and by the time I left School there little if any of Airfix's range that had not received my attention! Then career, marriage, kids and mortgages got in the way, as they do.
I returned to the hobby about 4 years ago after a short break of about 35 years and was blown away by how the hobby has changed. Even the most obscure types seem to be kitted these days and very well in most cases. I have found that with eyesight that for some peculiar reason isn't what it was that 1/32 seems to work best for me although there is always the problem of where to keep them. My main interest is FAA from 1939 onwards, having said that anything that takes my eye could end up in the stash!
