Hasegawa 1/72 F4-E Phantom II (early version)

I just finished building this Hasegawa F4-E Phantom ll that I found sitting in my stash for some time. I decided to build a early model of the E. So I took the body and the wings of a F4-D and attached them to the nose of a E model along with the tip that I found to create the short canon barrel of the early E. I also decided to load it up with eighteen 500 lbs mk 82 bombs. Six of them with fuze extenders and a centerline tank. Being that all the parts came from Hasegawa's great line of the phantom family made the assembly seem as if it was one kit. I used Eduard's pe for the cockpit and airbrushed the camo by free hand. I used Eagle Strike decals and tryed Ultimate's new formula of Dark Dirt which really added to the weathered effect. This Hasegawa kit was truly a treat to build and finish being that it was in my stash for some time half done. Hope everyone enjoys it.
