Superior detail! a 1/24 scale kit, you must have a magnifying glass to see all that stuff.

The name is in the title goose lol :wtf:

Anyway i managed to get all four discs built up, took about 4 hours work in total.
Image

I then had to get the hub of the back of the plastic kits kits and glue in position on the pe ones
Image
Image

I cut of the excess with my snips then sanded back with a Ultimate 180 thinny stick

Image

The glued in place
Image
Image

Primed and painted up everything, the callipered were painted in mr hobby h4 (i think) yellow then the Lamborghini decal applied and glossed with aqua gloss then glued in position. The discs were painted in H77 mr hobby tire black then lightly dusted with a lighter grey colour. the hub detail was detail painted by hand.

Still need to strip the chrome effect of the rims today and paint them up
Image

The chassis and running gear were painted in alclad black primer and detail painted by hand using humbrol metal coat on the suspension arms

Progress on the Aoshima Lamborghini. I Matt blacked the wheels after stripping the chrome off with some bleach. Think I'm going to stick with this as I think the contrast between glossy green and Matt black will look good.
Also got the engine assembled and painted up with alclads. The main engine cover has a really nice carbon effect decal and using the aftermarket metal decals they look good

A few hours tonight cutting and polishing the aventadors bodywork, using 4000, 6000, 8000 and 12000 grade micro mesh and the Ultimate thinny sponge for any particles/hairs caught in the clear coat. I used tamiya compounds with the micro mesh and then polished with them at the end. The body still needs waxing for a real shine but ill do that at the end when its complete smile emoticon
Its not perfect but for my first car in years I'm happy with it and should be better next time.

I must admit that I've never been a Lamborghini fan, but your built is beautiful.
Brakes are a real improvement and your paint job is just perfect!
Bravo!

Awesome paint, awesome details, awesome metal badges
Just pretty darn awesome

Good to hear you have come over to the car nut side of things, looking forward to seeing more builds
Warning: Japanese engineered kits are far better than Revell, AMT etc. Those won't fly together anywhere as nicely as this one

Lastly, I don't know where you find time or energy to do all these builds, make videos, run a company, young child and on top of that normal work and life duties...hats off to you for that :cheers2:
