I want to build a "Large Scale" Sherman & need advice...................

[JimJ]

I want to build a Large Scale Sherman tank, and need advice as to where to get the best kit for the least money

I would prefer to build either 1:25 (or) 1:16 scale............I realize the "Tamiya" 1:16 scale kit is probably the best place to start, but that kit is WAY out of my budget

I'm seeking advice as to the availability of other kits that may not be as expensive....................

I don't know of any 1/25 scale kits off the top of my head and a quick search didn't show any ether.
1/16th are more common, but they're all $300-500 depending on where you shop and what kit you want.
I don't think that you'll find anything cheaper.
I can certainly understand the draw to do it... After doing the searches now I want one.

I was afraid that might be the case
