Tamiya Jagdpanther In Progress

My apologies in advance for not posting the progress of this while it was, well, in progress. So here is the 1-35 Tamiya Jagdpanther Late Version.

I used Vallejo Light Camo Green, Red Leather, and Tamiya Dark Yellow for the paints. The tank has been partially glossed (I ran out halfway through). Filters are to come next.

This was my first freehand airbrush attempt. I think it looks okay. Not really happy with the tow cables. Do the experienced modelers have any tips on shaping the plastic tow cables? Or do I just buy 80 aftermarket ones?

Any tips, criticisms, and general advice you might have are welcomed.

That's really nice. My advice is to not use the plastic cables. I tried to heat them up and shape them but I'd either melt them or they would snap. I use either spare Dragon steel cables or after market copper preferably. I know it's an expense, but if you're looking for realism it's the best option.

Hi everyone.

An update is in order here.

Since we last saw this model, it has been glossed and then painted with a Mig Tan filter.

Really nice jag spock1701, it's a little late but I have some cavalier or Atak zim, you could have had, not sure though if there zim would have worked on a tamiya, I have lt for a dragon kit, I have the very old and early dragon jagpanther, I bought early zim and PE and barrel for it. And the company I bought it from sent late zim, anyway very cool build.
