First build since return: Scorpion CVR

Post by wolfsbane666 »

I've only ever built one tank before, about thirty years ago and I have never attempted weathering so took me a while to complete this build. It is over weathered, I know, but I wanted to try some things and have learnt so much. Any comments are welcome as I need to learn. I am returning to Marvel for my next build, Thor, then I am going to try My Eduard Phantom. Thanks everybody on here who helped and encouraged me I think I may be a little bit addicted now.

Hey, dont sweat it. I just got back into the hobby recently also and also over weathered my old model after 20 year break (see in my signature, Abrams tank). I think sometimes there is a place for a well weathered armor vehicle! Nicely done! Also on old kits, weathering really helps since they were likely not as accurate back then and could also be missing some details (parts broken off, etc). So I say enjoy the weathering and build something new with all the skill you've acquired doing this.
