Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said about this book?

I would have to say that this is the most comprehensive and easiest to understand book on AFV weathering there is, not to mention the prettiest also! Page after page is a new insight into AFV weathering and the process involved. It's easy to understand and easy to follow with no specific advertising for any specific products like other similar books out there.

I would consider this not only an essential guide for ANY modeller, but also a book in its self that I could easily pick up and read just for the sake of it. The photography and subjects are exquisite as is the layout and ease with which this book can be read.

As I have previously said, an absolute must for all modellers everywhere, start saving - it's worth it....!!!

There are three books, Amazon has one and the publisher Rinaldi has a set of two available. Numer 1 is the hard one to find. Number 1 is Axis amour.

I found a set at a hobby shop in San Diego.

I've got both of these awesome books and the third one on preorder from the publisher from back in September.
Really looking forward to the third one.
I think that the first one is going into a second printing... I don't know about the second one.

A very, very, good book. Number 2 covers the same basics which is a little wasted if you have the first, but the change in armour is nice and for the price, one really can't complain. No. 3 is due out soon and I noticed next year he intends 4 5 and 6 to be the same subjects again, 4 German, 5 Allied, 6 Modern. What I haven't yet found out is will they be updated reprints, completely new books or advanced techniques on similar examples?

Anyone like me whose been trying to find this book might be interested to know the publisher has an expanded third edition due to ship around April this year.
