Windscreen Wiper Marks

Post by OneSmallStep1966 »

On this forum I've seen some stunning examples of dirty windscreens (windshield) with wiper marks but have so far been unable to replicate this effect well myself.
I'm trying for a dirty rather than dusty effect (similar to what my car looks like when it hasn't been washed in a while) so the area of glass outside of the wiper blades still needs to be transparent but dirty.

Can anyone share their technique?

Thanks Paul, I'll give that a try at the weekend.
