Eduard 1/48 Legion Condor 1140

Post by Hackovsky »

So here is the review of the kit from Eduard. The kit is double combo with Roden He-51 and Eduard Bf 109E-1/E-3.

Box art is pretty nice :-)

I will start with the He-51. It is actually Roden kit and the standard is quite good.

This image shows little rough surface. This will be the great place to try the new Ultimate Primer :-)

Some flash is included

And now for the worst part of the whole kit. The windshield is foggy and scratched. There will be a lot of polishing. But the easiest way might be just to replace it.

Little laziness occurred... I will take new picture tomorrow. The decals are nice and printed by Cartograf and contains all decals for both kits. One separate small with stencils is for Bf-109.

And now for the better of the kits. Bf-109 from Eduard is very nice kit and I think the best in 1/48:

There are two types of under wings included. The difference is the cover of the MG FF cannons

Rivetting is great and it holds the Ultimate washes like a charm :-)

Now the difference between the Roden and Eduard. Crystal clear

And the rest of the small parts is on 2 sprues. The kit contains also engine and it could be opened.

And it could not be the Eduard kit without the PE parts
