Tamiya White Putty Question

Post by aur0ra145 »

Will Tamiya White Putty fog a canopy? I've got a gap between a canopy and model that I'm considering filling with putty. Will it fog it? What other techniques are out there for this?

Tamiya white putty is an opaque white coloured putty. It will not dry clear.

Yup, it was for a cockpit seam that was quite off due to design issues with the kit. I ended up just globbing a bunch of canopy glue in the seams, and contouring it, then sanding once it dried.

I was more wondering if the fumes from the putty would fog canopies like super glue does.

Oh for the matter of clouding clear parts, I don't think tamiya putty would produce a similar effect as CA glue
