I would be grateful if someone would answer two questions that I have. First,what are the type of grits I need for sanding and filling gaps and in what order to use them? Out of all the models I built, I somehow never needed to sand or use putty. Maybe it's because I build mostly Tamiya kits.That all changed when I started on an Academy kit. Second, I've seen a lot of people building 1/48 Eduard aircraft kits and I really want to try one out, but I have no experience with photo etch or resin parts.What would be a good kit to start out with the photo etch and not be too overwhelming? I know I can find this information on the web, but I decided personaly ask the knowledgeable people here on ISM.
