Anyone have a technique or resource for a spinning prop effect?
Current builds: Shinny things: Revell 1/48 B-17 with a 1:48 Tamiya P-51B Mustang Blue Nose | Revell 1/48 Apache

Clear acrylic disk and some paint to duplicate coloured tips...this was a first attempt

I saw the coolest product once. A prop that sits still but looks like it's spinning. Looked kinda like PE. I will ask my local mates where to find this and I will respond then. In the meantime somebody else might come up with it.

I found this for the rear rotor on my 1/72 Sea King, but for the life of me I can't remember where I got it :wall: but it isn't PE.
