oops dang another tiger ugh

Post by InitialProduction1 »

sorry guys, but yup I'm working on a tiger, rye fields full interior just a quick pic to show a few things wrong so anyone who's a rivet counter can go nuts. hahaha.

in this shot I'm putting in the wading tube, also you need to fill the turret roofs loaders hatch, to make it level, then add recessed holes for bolts, the frame on the kit has bolts in the loaders hatch frame, mounted to the roof on top you need to do that so it will be correct, or not say *&^%$%$# and leave it. also kit omits the fire extinguisher and tool box on the turret floor, tools "gray box" .

Image

the storage box just got weld seam's, looks a lot better now that's when I started, oops i need to take a new picture.

Image

the equipment blows replaced,

Image

start of turret, fixed seams ugh, they could copy dragon and make a solid turret.

Image

need a boat load of ammo pouches making my own.

Image

goodies starting to come in, here's 323's gun mantlet, was going to scratch build it but found it on line for $8.00 bucks + free shipping. also got archers 323 decals. yes.

Image

turret getting filled up, fast.

Image

there you go. hope you like out.

thanks mick glad you stopped in,

hey RonBurgundy cool name. hope you like what I'm doing.

well things are going a little faster now. I'll have to figure out how to take the hull apart with the snorkel installed.

Image

wiring it up and adding stuff,+

Image

everything in gray is what I've added, the ammo bags are from the Academy tiger full interior, I made a bunch of copys in the off yellow. I like Academy's better more detail. also water bottle's are all resin rye fields are very weak in detail. just me say-n.

Image
Image

some goodies came in really liking them.

Image

making the interior right. don't know why every model company puts that indent under the loaders hatch? it's ether flat or bolted nothing else that I've ever seen.

Image

here's where i'm getting the bolts from lol.

Image

adding the turret MG now. I had seen that the RField tiger's MG "sticks out way to far". thanks to Adam Mann for his build on the RField tiger, that's where I seen it. anyway I had to shorten it a lot to get the look I wanted. good thing is you can't see what I did anyway.

Image

and this is where i'm at hope you like.

Thanks OliveDrab, I see I added one photo twice, I'll have to change that, still hard to add photos, it takes forever there's something I'm doing wrong, I don't like posting anymore till I get this fixed. Again thanks.

Looks sweet! I wonder, how are you going to display the interior?

I hope that you're planning to leave the turret roof loose so you can show all that off?

thank you Icemannique I hope you'll like the buildup I'm starting the engine and bulkhead next,

thank you HamilkarBarkas, I'll hope to have the roof flip forward and make it standup, but I'll see.

thank you coen, yea that's the plan for the roof, but sometimes better lade plans of and men right. I wanted to show we lived in those tanks, not just fight in them. I'm still adding bread, cheese, and med supplies. again thanks guys for looking in, made my day.

That is very impressive work. You really need to leave the roof loose so you can display it.

Thank you mincemeat, hope to get the turret done by this weekend, my luck not. Lol.

Thank you pir8hntr, yeah I hope to make it left forward and stand on two small wires, that I can remove. But I'll see, again thanks.
