Revell 1/72 Focke Wulf Fw 190

I started this build on the weekend. Here are the pictures. Very nice kit. The panel lines are very shallow, but aprt from that good fit and nice detail in the cockpit.

The raised detail is great, its a pity its hard to see through the cockpit


I gave the wings and fuselage an enamel wash before putting them together














Decaling






Have to finish the cockpit and gloss coat it then begin weathering.

Thanks Elve1984 mate. It is a very enjoyable little kit

More work done, I finished the decals and gloss coated the kit, using Helmar Crystal Kote Gloss Varnish and waited a day for it to dry.

This model is all brush painted.

I then gave the model a wash with Tamiya Panel Wash Black. Here are the results.

















The cockpit is still to be painted, and the model will be coated with a matte finish.

Build is complete. I matte coated it and did a bit of touch up. The canopy is not the best, but I didnt want to mess with it any more.
