Good Figure Painting Books?

I'm looking for a good figure painting book. I have a couple fo the Osprey Modelling books but I'm looking for somehting that goes into a little more depth on the face / flesh paining side and possible tips on painting scales larger than 1/35.

Any suggestions?

which osprey books do you have i have modelling waffen SS by calvin tan , its a bit of an all rounder and another modelling fallschirmjager figures which does have a bit of a step by step on the face , not really in depth but enough info to get you on the way , i could use a good book too and a lot of the youtube vids are not too good or the video is poor quality

I have those same two books. Ordered the Scale Model Handbook WWII special this evening. Looks like it has a broad selection of techniques.

Do you want a book for painting historical figures
Or in other words soldiers or something a bit more generic
I have the SS figure book aswell and that explains some parts of it very well bit mostly focusses on the uniforms of the Waffen SS and not so much about the dude inside that uniform
The book : Painting figures of the Second World War by Histoire and collections is better for that but the author uses a bunch of term that aren't explained very well in my opinion
But if you read a bit more of it then most things get explained and there are enough photo's to show what he is talking about

A pal has this book. He said it improved his work to a much higher level

That was actually the book i was talking about
I thought i remebered the title but i guess my mind was acting up
It does help a lot but i think it may be easier to read for a english speaking person then someone who has english as a second language due to the terms and frases that are used
