My first proper submarine U boat. Wow this thing just looks so attractive and menacing. I really enjoyed this kit.
Can be completed in 2 days painted and all. No complaints and fitment was mint

I just primed the beast in tamiya spray can primer, then masked to spray the dark grey with Tamiya German grey rattle can. looks convincing enough

I thought I was a slow builder but I did a sub a couple of months back and it literally took me and hour to build and by the end of the morning it was painted and done. I'm wanting to buy another now after seeing this one.

Sturm, go and get yourself one mate. You are missing out. They are relatively cheap, easy and very fun to build. No dramas whatsoever.

Same Revell do really good job on their u-boats. Subs don't take long ey!

Hiya mate, absolutely cracking build. I'll be pleased if mine turns out just half as good. The only problem I've had so far with this kit is the one prop screw has a blade missing but I had ordered some brass props from g factor anyway so luckily not a going to affect my build.

A quick question regarding the flag. How did you get the swastika on yours. I've looked for aftermarket decals specific to this build and couldn't find any for the actual flag, so did you manage to source them or did you overlay a separate decal. Sorry for replying on a relatively old thread, but thought I'd chance my arm.
