Another old git reviving a childhood hobby!!

[chalkyw]

Hi to all,

Just another 40+er who got a bit bored at xmas and bought a model kit and then it's snow balled in to trying to give modelling a proper go.

Things have changed since the 70's and ISM is a great font of knowledge which I hope I can learn from. I've been watching a few members Youtube channels and have learnt a lot already and been inspired by some of the great builds and laughed a lot too as some videos are very entertaining.

Anyway Hi to you all and I've just posted my first efforts in the Land Gallery if you're interested to have a look.

Cheers
Chalky

Yeah, I'm, too, a 40+'er, and without ISM and Scalemates, I would probably have given up by now. But with some 5 builds under my belt, steadily improving (THANKS ISM!!!!), I can't wait to do my next one - I've got too many in my stash already! Can't understand why I haven't taken up modelling earlier!
