May I have your honest opinion

Post by Madmattmodels89 »

Hello all over the weekend I have acquired these nine kits in bulk for a total of $70. I love these tanks so I have jumped on them like a hawk.

Now thou I have no idea how much they are worth. Was it a good investment? :(

The Tamiya ones look to be mostly 70's kits I certainly recognise pictures and had them all back then, as to what their worth I'm unsure. Worth is really what someone is prepared to pay, I loved building them all and I'd like to rebuild them again and would probably pay a little premium, but it's very possible other than the box the kit still available are the same today.

You may be able to find out by looking on ebay or site that deal in older kits.

I think the Tamiyas are worth $20-30 each. You did well.

The Stug IV is at least £15 (that's 15 of Her Majesty's British Pounds), the Tiger is at least £20 so getting the lot for $70 is a very good deal.

Nice one mate!
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

The amount of fun you have bought can not be measured by money alone.....however you did well and no matter how old Tamiya kits are they fit well and I'm sure your son will love them and even more love the time spent with his old man.. :th:
