CyberHobby BF 109 E4 Günther Lützow

Post by Coen »

Hey Dudes.
So I've succumbed to peer pressure and started an aircraft build.
I've had this lurking in my stash for a couple of months calling to me...

Image

then there's a few of you lovely people nagging me all the time to knock one together.
So here we go.

Günther Lützow's BF 109 E4 fighter bomber version, 1940 over France... hopefully.
I'll be doing this entirely as a video build and I'll finish her off with a nice (haha) slide show.

This is one of the websites that I've been using for references. Fantastic shots.

That's a great kit, is that the one you got from Hannants? Someone was asking me about that kit a while ago.

I asked you about it a while ago buddy.
I came across it on Netmerchants for 25 pounds and I sent you a PM about what you thought about the kit.
I also asked ya about swastika decals recently and you put me on to Hannants. I also ordered some from John and MRG.
You know at your age... the mind starts to go...
Next it'll be Hanna... where's my teeth I'm goin to the store for scratch tickets?

Ha ha lmao.

Yes its supposed to be the best 1/32 109 kit, just watch the engine cowling fit, mine wouldn't go on properly and needed to be butchered.

Nice progress so far dude.

And video updates great as always though I do prefer the normal speed ones as I can listen whilst doing my own projects.

Just watched the vids mate (didn't have time before) great progress, it really is a nice kit for the money.

I doubt I could build it in a weekend, I class myself as an amateur modeller myself too buddy :th:

Thanks for the kind comments on my 109 too, much appreciated :cheers2:

Great build and videos Coen. I always watch your videos when building mine, and I like them very much. Now I started to watch how you build that Panther G :) By the way, those your videos of building 109 made me join this forum

I would say it would be "pushing the envelope" for a beginner Easy8.
It has that tricky fit issue in the nose that might give some trouble.

However... the amount you would learn from this kit would be huge.
It isn't hard to put together.. it's hard to follow the instructions, haha.
I'd say that a modeller with 5 to a dozen kits built in aircraft would have no real trouble with this kit.

Hey that's great Daimyo!
That's the kind of thing that makes my day, hearing that.
The Barkmann Panther was a long one. Try not to die watching it eh? haha.
