Not to be a jerk but did German troops have standard green uniforms? I was under the impression they wore Field Grey.

The m40 German uniforms which was issued in 1938 had a greenish fabric color which they called field gray. They did issue another uniform which was a bit lighter than Panzer gray.

Not to be a jerk but did German troops have standard green uniforms? I was under the impression they wore Field Grey.

The colour scheme on their uniforms may seem a little inaccurate. I basically painted The troops based on an Airfix German infantry colour guide. Their trousers would be darker grey. But I've opted for a lighter version with a tint of blue. Not sure the helmets are meant to look olive green. I would assume they were field grey or panzer grey. I'm learning though, painting figures is not my forte.

Thank you so much. The map was bought in Sweden for 5 quid. It's a chart of the Swedish West Coast. I love this map, and it has paid itself 100 times since I started using it as a base.

I know these figures are not the best, but the breadbags are really awful /I know it is not your fault, I usually replace parts like these with some spare ones - e.g. Dragon /

a coat of matt varnish would make them look not that shiny, I guess
