New upcoming kits that your looking forward too

Post by Always48 »

Well heres the idea. when you hear of a kit being released or re-released put it in the thread, so others can get excited too.

ground rules:
No comments from manufacturer haters trying to take the kit apart. Or claiming all the inaccuracies
No moaning about the wether we need say another F16.

Just a simple post to say something like "im really looking forward to Xyz release of the new F123" and if yourve got a picture even better :th:

OK - I'll go first :)

I like the look of this baby - Airfix Handley Page Victor B.2 1:72 http://www.airfix.com/uk-en/shop/new-fo ... -1-72.html

I was based at Marham for a while in the '90's and only saw them in their K2 guise but there was something quite menacing about their look even then. The kind of look you still see in the eyes of old boxers who know they've still got it and will put you on your backside if you don't treat them with the respect they've earned.

A kit dating from the time when the RAF was still the tip of the spear rather than getting the shaft - if you get my meaning - and taking me back to my childhood when I still had aspirations to be one of the few who flew these mighty machines. Plus it's scheduled to hit the shelves bang in time for my birthday - I can't think of a better treat for myself.
I just added another one to the, "What the HELL was I thinking list..."

I am really looking forward to the HK Models release of the new 1/32 scale B-17. I can't wait to see this thing.
http://www.ww2aero.com/hong-kong-models-b-17/

I mean a 1/32scale bomber must be huge! :jd:

Should be fun talking the wife into letting me purchase it.

Sincerely,

Richard

Dragon's new Star Wars kits have got me drooling on my keyboard. AT-AT, AT-ST, Speeder, X-Wing, Tie Fighter. Cannot wait, sometime in 2016

Bandai keep releasing new SW kits too. Saw an A-Wing this morning and a Star Destroyer! New for 2016
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

I know they have a Star Destroyer Mecha Colle (a 4 inch model), but are they talking about the 1/1700 they had on display at their reveal shows a couple years back?! That thing was like 36-38 inches long...

Edit to add: A pic from I think the 2014 show:

Just seen some test shots on Trumpeter's new 1/16 offering. Its only a Jagdtiger!!

Cant begin to think what it will cost. Cheapest I've seen for their Panzer 4s is £175 and north of £200 for their Tiger 2. Lordy Lordy I want it but I'm gonna have to ask you lot for donations!: : :

I could wait for it to get cheaper when it comes out but it may go UP in price if its popular.

Alternatively I could try a smaller offering for my first go at 1/16. This new Luchs looks tasty and has had some good in-box reviews.

https://www.emodels.co.uk/classy-hobby- ... 16001.html

Alternatively (version 2), I could just keep my powder dry and drool about Dragon's new Star Wars stuff - whenever it comes out!! :violin:
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.
