Tamiya soft plastic

Post by Augustus »

I'm just starting my second model, Tamiya Cromwell IV, and it's going together well except for one thing. The plastic is really soft and pliable, especially compared to my first. Is this normal? Does it happen to a certain build design of a model or just something that is random. Might not seem much of a big deal but you have to be really careful not to take off too much when sanding.

Tamiya plastic does have a tendency to be quite soft, i keep a couple of old nadgered sanding sticks about just for tamiya kits.
John, whats on my bench? Usually a mess and a couple of different models a week.
My motto? I'm not lazy, just energy efficient.
