I've decided to do this Eduard kit for this shiny sig

The kit has got a beautiful NMF marking option ; MJ250

MJ250 was flown by No. 601 "County of London" Squadron from July 1944. The unit was operating from the airfields at Perugia,Loreto and Fano at that time.
The aircraft was primarily used for dive-bombing operations. It survived the war but was then scrapped.
MJ250 was usually flown by F/O Desmond Ibboston, DFC and Bar. This fighter ace is credited with 11 confirmed and 4 probable kills with five damaged aircraft.
He was shot down the 19th. Of November 1944 at the controls of spitfire MH614.

This is the cockpit. I think it looks very good . I'm happy with it

Now it's time for me to paint the interior

The interior was painted with Akan British gray green interior color

Now it's time to build the dash .. The photo etch that comes in the kit is brilliant and it fits perfectly


The interior was weathered with a oil wash and then sealed with a flat varnish.. The instruments got a drop of gloss on their recesses

The assembly of this kit was joy. One of the best engineered kits on the market.. No filler was used what so ever... With careful alignment of the parts. You only need to sand down and buff seams. Rescribeing was used with a no.11 blade and the tamiya p-cutter.

I panted the model with ak extreme metal aluminum. Post shaded with dark aluminum

Thank you! I only used micro set and sol. And they are cartograph decals
