What is AK Interactive Extreme Metal

Hey Gents!

I've seen a few reviews regarding AK Interactive Extreme Metal paints and none have made it clear as to what type of paints they are. Is it Acrylic, enamel, Lacquer, or something else entirely different?

Please let me know what they are and if you have had any experience using this new line yet?

Hey Joe, (that reminds me of a very good song )

I believe the AK Interactive Extreme Metal paints are a lacquer based metallic paint that lets you almost plate the the bare metal areas of a model.

Due to the nature of the paint it does smell like high heaven, it is less that lets say Alclad II but that is by far the worst smelling of all metallic paints that I know. For this reason some precautions are best taken: Face Mask and good extraction unit.

I also found the promotional video from the manufacturer so that will give a tinted view of the product.
