Where's Coen?

Not Coen a message about one of his videos on here and he hasn't replied and I haven't seen him on the forum for ages. Is he still modelling now?

Only being a new member here I would like to say
First His (Coen C) youtube channel was the reason I came here and joined. His approach and techniques very similar to my own especially on washes, pigments along with old school approaches he takes it was the first online person still truly using these methods.
Secondly if something has upset him online I can understand his wanting/need to separate himself from the ... Hard to enjoy your modelling if your not focused.
I hope he does return here as from the short time here and what I am reading , it is extremely enjoyable and helpful resource, I enjoy reading and seeing other subject matters other than the one I am interested in.

Yeah, it would be great to see him on ISM again. At the end of the day its a hobby which we all enjoy so we should just get on with modelling and helping each other out.

Ditto.....I watched Coens whole Youtube collection over the xmas break and it really gave me the inspiration to start sniffing glue again. I'm still watching his channel but it would be great to see him here again but I understand if he has his reasons for not.

ISM will never destroy itself over anyone, this place is much better than something as silly as that. If people choose not to post here thats there own choice. People come and go its always been that way with anything.

ISM is busier and more popular than ever before with great members that support each other in their hobby.

The days of petty squabbles is in the past as far as I'm concerned, if other wish to continue it, thats up to them.

Hey Fellas,
I’m sorry that I haven’t been posting here in ISM in some time.
I’m afraid that this is the result of some unfortunate circumstances.
I won’t go into details as to what or why things are the way they are other than to say,
no toys have been tossed out of any prams,
no point is being made against or for ISM,
no opinion is being voiced about ISM,
and no refusal to post has occurred.

Choices had to be made to make things work better for a few people, including myself and some sacrifices had to be made as a result of these choices. These changes not only included this forum but other forums as well, including changes made to my use of facebook.
Sadly, a visible connection to ISM was one of these sacrifices. Some people are upset by these changes but they were made as a result of irreconcilable differences and thus permanent.

I have no intention of asking that my account be removed from the forum; there is a considerable amount of work and resource attached to it that can still be of use to many members.
All of the photos will remain attached to the posts and my photobucket will continue to host them.
All of my new work is posted, as always, on my youtube channel as well as my new facebook page, which you can find through my youtube channel.

That being said, if the continuation of my account is an administrative burden to the hosts of the forum they’re free to delete it at their leisure.

I view this site as an oasis among the arid desert that categorises most of the internet. One of the few places where people can express opinions and not be torn apart for having a different view. Yes we disagree and we sometimes challenge each other on issues but we are universally positive when it comes to achievement in model making and we are inclusive regardless of skill set - two things that are precious beyond all things.

That this ideal has not been achieved to everyone's satisfaction this time around is a shame, sadly we are made of clay and we live in an imperfect world. I have no idea what happened, nor do I want to know. Its just disappointing that it has.
