Quick tip for Ultimate Primer

So this is a quick tip I personally suggest people do to get the most out of their primer. As we know the Ultimate primer drys supper fast which is great, it is also thick which is great. This does pose a problem if, you're like me, and you don't use it very often. What can happen is it separates, which is normal, and even with the bottle closed can start to thicken even more because the top layer drys off. It does seem to happen with bottles of this type even my Liquitex varnishes do the same thing. However there is a quick fix.

First I suggest putting an agitator in it. I use Mig's because I have them however my father says plan old stainless steel nuts that have been washed really well will work.He worked on boats so I guess I can trust him


Next I use plastic wrap from the kitchen to ensure the bottle is sealed. I have not had a problem since. The only thing you have to be careful of is to not use the exact same spot on the plastic wrap again as little dried pieces can fall in. Did that once before I figured that out.

I use glass marbles. That way there's ZERO chance of it EVER rusting.

Does not really speak for the bottle if it dries inside the bottle already, but it can be fixed. very valuable information, cheers!
