Shop and manufacturer section improvement

Hi there
At the moment we have the shop and manufacturer directory wich already has a lot content in terms of shops all over the world
But i think that we can still improve it a bit
My idea would be to make a seperate list of manufacturers/brands
And not devide them by location but by subject like kits,figures and after market products or even paints and weathering products
Just by putting up the name and a link to the companies website
This way a mamber or guest can look for brands with in a certain subject or product without having to search through multiple shops

As a example of what i mean

Kits
Dragon link to website
Tamiya link to website
Italeri link to website

Figures
Nocturna
Pegasso
Andrea

After market
Voyager
Legend
Verlinden productions

Paint and weathering
Ammo for Mig
AK interactive
Vallejo
Ultimate

Tools
Ultimate
Air-craft.net
Flexi file

And so on
This way it will be easier to find brands that a modeller may very well never heared of
Many brands in the after market and figure world are small 1 man companies that don't get a lot of exposure
And with a list like this it is possible to find new brands and products that you may never seen before
Ofcourse it will take a while to set it up but just like with the current we can let members point out brands that aren't listed yet
I am willing to spend some time on it and it would be something you don't see anywhere else since ISM is one of the very few forums that doesn't focus on a single subject with in the modelling hobby

But this is just my idea so i would like to know what you guys think

And if we do things the same way as is done with the current list
People can tell about new or unlisted brands
Then it should be easy enough

What about shops that sell everything and in different parts of the world?

I wasn't really going for the shops actually
More for the brands
It is possible to add things like the country and other info to each brand name
