My name is Jose. I'm 59 years old, around modelling for ages but building at the speed of snail (unless I must do it on a deadline, but it occurs very seldomly). I live in a small town named Cornebarrieu near Blagnac (where Toulouse airport is located) in France of course. When I get back home from Toulouse, I regularly drive near the assembly line of A 380. It occurs that on the other side of the road there's a small aviation museum and an amateur restoration association, so there's a lot of planes right there. On an historical point of view, Toulouse has a big feedback on aviation : Latecoere and Dewoitine, Clement Ader was born a few kilometers away, Aeropostale was created there.
As for me I am mainly interested in military airplanes (1/48 and 1/32 as 1/72 is too tiny for my old eyes), let us say it is a fascination for lethal weapon... I have some F1 cars and even sports cars for the shiny aspect, and also AFV for the "brick in your face" side. But in fact modelling is not my passion, modelling is a mean to help the progression of thought for me, trying a new tool, a new technique, even inventing some when I am inspired. My friends call me "the alchemist" as this aspect is the most important to me. This is to say that I have really too many boxes, but I try to find excuses to buy others.
