Hi Gents,

does anyone know of a good resource for what British units had Firefly's in Italy or Sicily during WW2??

No sorry, but found this to help.
7th Armoured Division was in early stages of the early stages of the invasion of Italy, before being withdrawn to be used in the invasion of Northern Europe.
Not much help I'm afraid. :wall: :(

Wikipedia has a long list of units in Italy that used the Firefly. Search "Sherman Firefly".

Excellent, thank you very much :th: :th: ......didn't think of trying Wikipedia and it answers my question about 7th Armoured having Fireflys, or not as it says.
