painted with a custom mix of craft acrylics and weathered with oils. all sealed with Liquitex matte varnish

I too use acrylic craft paints as my mainstay; they're not too expensive and there's just about every color you can think of.

I've been wondering about the Liquitex varnish; did you use an airbrush to apply it or did you brush it on? Also, how well does it go down; is it hard to get an even coat?
